About Me

Trevor D. Moore
Trevor at the City Museum in St. Louis, 2007.
The shadows thrown by the iron sculpture and
the sunset reflecting off of my glasses create a
wonderful, illuminating effect.
History
I first got involved with the Internet in 1993 using Dial-up and an Internet service called Netcom. Before web pages really got popular, I was involved in the early chat rooms, BBSes, and MUDs. I wrote my first piece of Internet software - a chat room management suite - in 1994. My first web page came in 1997, and by the late 90's I was actively developing Internet community management software for a number of projects. I haven't strayed far from my roots - to date, my interests are still heavily focused on web design and virtual communities.

Credentials
For any type of artistic or creative craft, a Portfolio is really necessary to capture the essence of the artist. For a list of my programming proficiencies, please see the Services Offered page. My formal education consists of a Bachelor of Computer Science and Master of Information Systems and Technology Management from the University of Delaware. I hope to have a website available soon for my professional research on Virtual Communities, so check back for that often.

My Creed
I strongly believe that if something is worth doing, it's worth doing right. I apply this work ethic to every project I take on - from a five-page brochure site to a hundred-page portal site. The pride I take in my work is a large part of what keeps me going. Without it - I'd be just another "techie for hire."
